Amazing Animal Encounters - Licence number 19/01074/ANEST

OUR AMAZING ANIMALS
We can't show you every amazing animal the world has to offer, but we can certainly help kindle a love for animals and wildlife with the ones we do
The majority of our animals have been rehomed to us. The work we do allows us to keep the animals and to accept additional ones from time to time on a case by case basis. Only members of our family who are happy to get involved and interact with you are listed here. Animals that require companionship of their own species are listed here on their own because they are suitable for interaction with members of the public but their companions are not. IF YOU ARE BOOKING FOR A CHILDREN'S BIRTHDAY PARTY PLEASE READ THE ANIMAL DESCRIPTIONS CAREFULLY Not all animals are available or suitable for your booking. Roo the wallaby
Roo the wallaby
Roo is available to meet at HQ only. Roo came from a park where they had too many young males. Parma wallabies are solitary although may hang around in 'mobs' for safety. Dominant males can get aggressive towards young males like Roo. Because Roo was friendly and would take food from people, he was ideal to come live with us where he can gets lot of attention.

Ziggy the python
We prefer for children to hold snakes in their hands, touch from a handling basket or touch while held by the handler and do not encourage or allow: snakes around faces or necks as this further increases the risk of contamination by reptile related Salmonella or children under 5 to touch reptiles including snakes (advice from the UK Communicable Diseases Surveillance Centre)
